Like Thanksgiving and Christmas, Easter can invite a culinary tour de force, except it comes with the added bonus of spring. The season brings sumptuous local produce, a range of acceptable Easter lunch dishes (from crawfish to ham) and a palette of vivid and inspiring colors.
It's a bit of a slow week, spring break and all, but two events on Saturday will make up for the rest of it. First, starting at two in the afternoon it's the annual Mud-in at Teddy's Juke Joint, a day-long celebration of Muddy Waters' birthday out at the venerable Zachary club.
