Sweet sculptures at Brunner Gallery Saturday

Art enthusiasts will have the opportunity to survey and explore the 3-D sculptures by Louisiana artist Martin Payton on display at Brunner Gallery. They will learn more about the processes and materials used by the artist to create his work before creating their very own edible candy sculpture. This event is free and open to the public. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

It's your last chance to see "The Line That Roars: Editorial Cartoons in the Age of Anxiety," featuring the work of David Norwood of The Advocate, Steve Kelley of the Times-Picayune and David Horsey of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer at the LSU Museum of Art. The recent exhibition celebrating these witty artistic commentaries closes Sunday, Feb. 10.
